SIDR
The word 'sidr' means 'eye'. in fact, it is one kind of cyclone.
the ever worst cyclone called 'sidr' hit 12 districts inclusing
Barishal, Bagerhat, barguna, Pirojpur, Jhalakathi, at
midnight on the 15th of November, 2007.
The velocity of
the wind was up to 240km; per hour. Great danger single
number 10 was announced and many people were taken to
safe shelters earlier. so the loss of lives was not so much.
Yet the number might be more than 10,ooo. but it caused
great loss of crops, trees and domestic and wild animals.
